Doxy Trails began in 2024 with just four dachshunds, a lot of love, and a dream to share the joy this breed brings with families everywhere. But really, our story started long before that — with our family’s dachshund, Ben.

Ben was the dog who first showed us just how special this breed is. His loyalty, playful spirit, and unwavering love left such an impression on our hearts that we knew we wanted dachshunds to always be part of our lives. What began with Ben grew into a passion, and eventually, the foundation of Doxy Trails.

Life on the Farm

Today, our dachshunds aren’t just pets — they’re companions in our everyday lives. They love to explore the farm, run through the yard, and spend nearly all of their time by our side. Whether it’s playing outside, enjoying a sunny nap, or curling up after a long day, our dogs are truly part of our family.

Adventure is an important part of raising happy, well-rounded dachshunds. Our pack enjoys trips to the groomer, car rides with the windows down, and walks where they get to greet new friends. Playtime is a must — chasing toys, exploring new spots, or running together in the grass keeps their playful spirits shining. These experiences help them stay active, curious, and social, preparing them to pass those same qualities on to their puppies.

Our Commitment

At Doxy Trails, the health, happiness, and safety of our dogs always come first. From routine vet visits and high-quality nutrition to daily bonding time, our dachshunds receive direct, hands-on care. Moms are given extra love during pregnancy and whelping, ensuring they and their puppies thrive every step of the way. Puppies are raised in a home environment with plenty of love, socialization, and early experiences to prepare them for their forever families.
